Shit dishwasher

Why is my dishwasher so rubbish, it never seems to get things clean. I use rinse aid, have tried all sorts of tablets and cleaners but it never fails to leave some items unclean. What am I doing wrong? It's a bosch, about 5 years old.

I had a bosch that did this, I got rid of it!

Have you cleaned out the filters?

I have , it doesn't make much difference.

Same I have a Bosch about 18 months old and it’s rubbish

Have you checked the salt levels? Mine was rubbish for a while until I eventually realised it had run out.

How often do you fill the salt (I've not done mine for months 😱 and getting dirty washing up back now

Have you cleaned the rotary arms as well as the filters, topped up the salt and the rinsaid?
If you always run it on an economy programme it might be worth using a DW cleaner and see if that helps.

Well it was the first time I’d filled it in literally years but I suspect the manual says to do it more regularly

Rotary arm is a good shout too. One of the holes in mine was blocked with a bit of mank so the items at the very front and back were coming out dirty.

This thread has made me check my salt section of the dishwasher, as I realise I haven't put salt in it for well over year. There's still salt right up to the top. Any idea why that would be?
