Hubby wiped it with a damp cloth then left it. Not impressed! Any advice? Grin

Following as DM tripped and her coffee landed on carpet. Despite immediately wiping, and several DIY tricks from Youtube and several products from supermarket, stain is still there 😩

I had a professional carpet cleaner round yesterday as it happens. Tried all sorts. The stains he couldn’t shift are (I’m pretty sure) tea. Admittedly been there a while.

Hope you have better luck

Sponge a solution of white vinegar diluted with water (one part vinegar to one part water) onto the stain. Allow it to sit for five to 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water and blot up the liquid with a clean white cloth until almost dry. Allow the spot to air dry and then vacuum to lift the carpet fibers.Office Carpets

Well I'd get hubby to go out to the shops to buy a carpet stain remover like Vanish and then I'd stand over hubby while he wets the stain copiously with cold water and scrubs the vanish in with a scrubbing brush. Then I'd stand over hubby while he vacuums up the dried out Vanish. For starters.

HG Stain Remover.

It's a miracle product.

Ammonia, perhaps.
