Steam Generator or Steam Iron?

I don't want to spend masses - ideally less than about £80 - so should I get a low-end steam generator or a decent quality steam iron? It's been a long time since I've owned any kind!

I was looking at the Morphy Richards Intellitemp iron which seems to be something between the two - anyone tried it? Or any other recommendations? Thanks!

I saw several reviews of Morphy Richards here mentioning a tendency to drip water but it was fine for the first few weeks. It now occasionally drips, which will become a real pain if it gets worse. Is it faulty? Apart from that, it irons like a dream and the extra long cord makes life much easier.
I have tried many including steam generators and this exceeds them all by far.

I wouldn't want to go back to a standard steam iron after so long with a steam generator iron. I suspect I would stop ironing if I couldn't have one. Because it's so efficient, ironing doesn't take long. King size cotton bedlinen is the worst - but it's a treat to have it after many years of cheap polycotton non iron sheets.

I love my steam generator iron and would never buy an ordinary one now.
