Gleaming shower screen

I've been in B and Bs where there isn't a mark on the shower screen, even though they must have a lot of use. I've tried spraying on vinegar mixed with water (just leaves my bathroom stinking of vinegar), bicarb, bleach sprays and there's still streakiness on the lower half.
I live in an area of soft water so I can't even blame limescale!

Any suggestions that actually work?

I use those daily shower sprays and spray after every shower. Method is the best.

Squeegee down after every shower and spray with Vikal leave for 30 mins or so then wash off and dry wipe if you want an absolutely streak/spot free glass door.

Squeegee after every single shower and Method Daily Shower Spray, once in a while I give the screen a buff with a glass cloth, I live in a very hard water area and I find that keeps the screen spotless.

I used to use cillit bang lime and grime. I was very happy with it. Then one day there wasn't any in the shop so I got viakal. It's incredible but I don't leave it more than 5 minutes because it's madly strong.

Creepymanonagoatfarm · 12/09/2022 20:17

Cleaner here.
Viakal. Spray. Spread over with a scourer and leave for a few mins.
Rinse off.
Dry with cloth.

Great advice. Thanks all

Clean the screen after every shower?

Is this normal?

Choccyp1g · 12/09/2022 22:03

You don't need any products, just dry the screen after every use.

HarpicHarpy · 12/09/2022 22:09

Viakal or cillit bang 100% limescale remover if you have hard water marks. Really soak the glass in it then rinse off. The most important thing is to squeegee the water off after each shower rather than letting it dry. Then just a quick polish with j cloth and glass cleaner spray will make it gleam.

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 12/09/2022 22:42

I clean my shower screen with ciff and one of those sponge scouring pads. It gets all the marks and limescale off lovely.

I do that once a week.

LIZS · 12/09/2022 22:43

White vinegar and ecloth

Unless you’re in a hard water area. Then use Viakal.

Mr muscle shower shine.
Or method. X

RaraRachael · 16/09/2022 09:24

Great advice thanks. I've been using a squeegee and Viakal and that seems to be a lot better. Plus Viakal smells a lot nicer that vinegar or bleach!

Pink stuff paste works well.
