Robot hoover and sofa

Good morning, we recently got a robot hoover and it keeps getting stuck under our sofa. Can anyone recommend anything we could put under the sofa (that doesn't entail me getting to grips with a saw and large strips of wood) to block it? At the moment I'm using books but it's a faff.

Thanks in advance

I Iifted my sofa very slightly, the robovac fitted under bit got stuck on specific bits.
DP made little blocks that I added to the screw-in legs, washers would have done the same job - I put them on the screw between the leg and the sofa so you don't see them, rather than adding something to the bottom of the leg.

It also gets stuck under part of the sofabed in the playroom and this would be harder to lift.
I've put the magnetic strip on the floor where it goes under, but I don't like it and am going to put a couple of strips of wood along those edges.

My sofa has screw in wooden legs so I got slightly longer legs for it and changed them. I've also got a shoe box on its end at the back of the sofa to lift the wires off the floor.

A draught excluder.

My iRobot came with two cone like devices. You use them to block off areas you don't want the robot vacuum to go. Does yours have similar?

Our sofa is high enough not to get stuck, and when we bought a new bed we specially measured its height to ensure it would go under. We have a coffee table that the robot sometimes gets stuck with but now b]out down a couple of books under those bits to stop it from happening.

Swim noodles?

My robot came with strips you can use to stop it going somewhere. I suspect you could buy the strips by themselves and place them just under the sofa. Mine is eufy so maybe look on their website?
