Mould in bathroom

We have, to my embarrassment, a lot of black mould on the grouting and sealant of our shower. Mould spray isn’t touching it -
is the only option now to remove sealant and redo, or is there a cleaning solution? (It is thick, black and ingrained - this isn’t just mildew that could be wiped off). I should have dealt with it before it got to this stage!

HG mould spray is the best I have used.

You could try soaking kitchen roll or tissue paper in bleach. Push it against the sealant and leave it overnight.

Absolutely try kitchen roll soaked in bleach and leave it for 24 hrs.

I second the hg mould spray. I clean day to day with white vinegar too.

This. Although I use toilet roll rather than kitchen as I put it down the toilet afterwards rather than bin.

HG solution does work but it can also dissolve your sealant too. The warnings state this and I can confirm it Blush so it depends on how much you want to risk pin hole leaks and end up resealing too.

And keep the room ventilated all the time.

Thank you - I’ve bought some HG stuff so looks like that’s a bank holiday task (respectfully, obviously!)
