Bins

We’ve just moved from a wheelie bin area to a new place where general rubbish is collected once a fortnight in black bin bags (max 2 bags)

We don’t generate too much, so I’m happy with the frequency and amount that’s collected, but I’m trying to work out the best way thing to do with rubbish between collections?

When we had a wheelie bin, I could put smaller bags in it as and when (eg if I emptied the bathroom bin) - stuff you don’t want hanging around inside for a fortnight but isn’t worth a whole black bag for.

I’m wondering if I’ve missed anything obvious that other people do!

We went the other way - from different coloured bags for rubbish, recycing, glass etc to wheelie bins. When we only had bin bags, we bought a wheelie bin.

When we had bags I bought a wheelie bin to store them in, in case animals ripped them apart
