My question is about 'communal' rooms in your home ( ie hall, loo/bathroom, living room and kitchen). I am trying to make a loose schedule and wondering what others do.
If you ignore the daily stuff like laundry, tidying up, making beds, washing up etc, which tasks would you class as weekly, and which as monthly?
I'm thinking:
WEEKLY
Mop floors
Proper clean loo and bathroom
Water plants
Dust
Wipe skirtings and paintwork
Hoover including edges
Clean bin
Clean sink area
Cobwebs
MONTHLY
Move furniture like sofa and clean underneath
Windows
Oven
Kitchen cupboards
Clean washing machine drawer/ service wash
Clean lightshades
Spot clean carpets
What would you add ( sure I've forgotten plenty) or change??
