You know, the ones you fill and then put the hose from the hoover in the whole and suck out the air?? I have heard there are different ones that are reusable and that the cheap ones can only be used once....I need these desperatley as i have duvets and cushions to store away, anyone know any thing about them?

you mean vacuum bags?
yes they work, i have loads. but tbh, i havent sucked the air out with the hoover, just squashed the things flat and squeezed the air out. it stay flat and airless. but hoover would do a better job.

mine are cheap and reuseable, from a supermarket, but then i live in singapore, so not sure what's available in your area. really thick plastic, they are, so can be used forever.

this sort of thing

I have vacuum bags; they are good but tend to reflate over time

I store duvets, cushions etc but put them in one of those large laundry-type bags as well, so that they only reflate to the size of the external bag
