Drying washing in a conservatory.

Following all the money saving tips for the coming winter with the associated price increases is it an option to dry washing in an unheated conservatory with the conservatory windows open.

I read on a previous thread a comment about using a greenhouse.
Am I missing something here, will clothing smell or the conservatory become mouldy. It's a made of wood and single glazed if that makes a difference.

We dry our clothes in the conservatory, we leave them on a rack overnight and they don't smell at all.

I do this, but in winter I close the windows and use a dehumidifier. It is too damp round here not to.

I've always dried mine in the conservatory, never any problems.

I've had a dehumidifier for the last couple of years as DPs dog causes condensation in the winter, I have it on a timer for a couple of hours a night and that's enough.
