Label says do not wash - should I risk it?

My lovely multi-coloured throw needs a wash, or at least a freshen up. Do you think it would be ok on a cold delicates setting? or would you not risk it.

I would, but put it inside a pillowcase (or one of those big mesh bags if you have one) so it doesn't get yanked about.

Use one (or two) those "colour catchers" sheets just in case some of the colours run; they are wonderful things!

sue if you wash it in baby shampoo in warm water, and then wring out gently (don't rinse) and stretch to shape and dry flat, you might be able to tease out your jumper

did it with one of dh's lambswool ones
