HELP ! Red sock in with some favorite clothes.......

I am just unloading washing machine and have found one of sons rugby socks in with coloured wash.
He has some much loved items in there many of which now have a pink tinge to any white areas. this includes his beloved Ireland rugby shirt which he saved for and bought himself on tour in Eire.
Anyone got any ideas to reduce the pinkness and maybe recover some of them enough to make them wearable. I know I can't restore the white but even if they just looked grubby/grey I think he would forgive me.
How stupid can I be. If it was my own stuff i probably wouldn't be nearly so bothered ( and DD would be delighted if it was hers!).
Anything.....?

Get to your nearest supermarket and but 2 packs of colour run remover PRONTO!

Use one now to remove (some) run colour and keep the other for the next emergency.

Yes, the colour run stuff really works - do it ASAP though.

Sorry, made by Dylon I think.

BE WAREY using colour run remover on COLOURED clothes

i had a lovely pink jumper... which accidently went in the wash with a brand new dark green towel...

was a browny pink yukky colour...
so used dylon colour run removed and it was AWFUL.... i mean relaly really bad.... like a belached colour.... pale crowny and unwearable.... it was trying to take all the colour out.

so i bought a new top and dyed the jumper dark dark blue as there was no way it could survive anything other that a VERY dark colour
