Holiday washing machine - help!

Hello. Niche question coming up. We’re on holiday in Spain. The apartment has a washing machine but no instructions. The programme settings have no symbols just letters (A, B, C etc). Temperature is on a separate dial. The machine is a very old White Westinghouse machine. Does anyone have any clue about what the letters mean? I want to rinse and spin swimwear and then do a normal cotton wash. Thank you!

Are there any words on the dial?

None! So unhelpful.

Can you post a picture of the dials?
Does it give the model number anywhere?

DH has been trying to find model number but machine is so old it’s rubbed off and is indecipherable. Here is pic of dial…

We can't know what the numbers mean without at a least a model type.

Is there a handbook somewhere with the property? Is it in that?

Letters even 🤦‍♀️

I totally agree! No handbook. I’ve messaged the lady who gave us the keys (thanks to Google translate) and am hoping she can shed some light…

The symbols on the dial might give some guidance. I can see a flower, which I think means fabric conditioner, so that's probably the rinse cycle. Can you photograph the right hand side of the dial?

That's a good idea.

I lived in Spain for 7 years and I may remember some of it with the pictures!

We also had a washing machine from history!!!!

Thanks all. I love MN. The lady has appeared (guess 2230 isn’t later in Spain!) and shown me what to do. Still don’t know what the letters all mean but I need H or O depending on how dirty the clothes are apparently!
