How are you maintaining the shower curtain clean?

Hi, we have currently the shower screen, however I would like to switch it to shower curtain, how often are you washing it and how?
Do you just show it to the washing machine?
I'm fed up with the screen, how robust it is, but isn't the curtain actually worse?
Please help me to decide.🌻

I wash and / or bleach mine and replace as needed.

You’d have to actually put it in the wash though 🙄

Put it in the wash with the towels every couple of weeks. If the bottom of the curtain goes pink, pre soak in bleach and water first. Buy two curtains- one in use, one in the wash.

I do a 90° wash cycle with bleach and no detergent with it once a month or so and hang it straight back up to dry, very simple.
