Sticky sweet stuck to sofa

How do I clean this?? Partially melted wine gum 😭

I’d probably experiment by sticking a yellow wine gum to a white cloth/tea towel/t shirt for a bit to make the same stain and then see what removes it.

Its food colouring so, in theory, fairy liquid or soap powder should do the job but I’d want to check on another bit of fabric first in case I made it worse/spread the stain and made it bigger.
