how to lighten a dylon dyed dress?

i had a white cotton dress i never wear so decided to dye it blue with one of the dylon machine pods. it's come out well but it's just a bit too vibrant a shade for me. is there anything i can do to tone it down a bit? i wondered if i used bleach in the washer drawer if this would help to lighten it or would that make it patchy?

I think it would make it patchy, I wouldn’t risk it.
Dylon pre dye lightens fabric before dying it so that would lightening- but maybe too much?

I might try that. Or maybe I should just wear the dress and try to feel confident in this less muted colour.
