Vanish caused a strange mark

I recently used vanish ( powder) on a pair of grey jogging trousers. Once they had dried I had noticed that it had left a strange pinkish mark on them and haven’t been able to get it off. Any advice please?

Sounds like it's bleached the fabric, in which case you can't get it out. Depending on the fabric composition you might be able to dye them another colour to cover it up?

Yeah I thought it looked familiar. Oh dear. They are a decent pair too. Thanks for responding I appreciate that

I’ve had that happen with Vanish recently too, it’s never happened before and I’ve been using it for years but it’s ruined a T-shirt.

I wouldn’t mind if it wasn’t in a area that wasn’t noticeable but it’s on the leg. Never happened to me before either
