Mouldy cookware

I’m hoping someone knows what I can do

somehow I managed to leave water on a saucepan with a dirty colander and saucepan lid on top of it - I don’t know how long for. Bit of an adhd/depression combo going on here

i went to wash it up - took off the saucepan lid and colander and in the water was a white blob and a number of dark green blobs that I’m pretty sure was mould. It didn’t smell great.

I tipped the water away but don’t know how best to clean the cookware. Is it enough to soak in boiling water, scrub with detergent then soak in 50\50 white vinegar and water?

Honestly that's more than I'd do. I'd just give it a good wash out with hot water and washing up liquid and then rinse it. Unless you are immunocompromised then that would be perfectly adequate to make it safe.

I'd just give it a good wash with fairy and hot water.

Washing with hot water and detergent should be absolutely fine but if you are worried then fill with hot water and simmer on the hob for 5 minutes or so. That should kill anything!
