Washed a favourite white pattern too, it had been left as it needed to go with light colours but it now has horrible yellow stains underneath armpits which may be visible. I used non bio

Any tips how to reduce the staining

Thanks

I had this happen to a brand new white top the other day. Was horrified, I had worn it during the heatwave but didn’t think I was THAT sweaty! I put bicarbonate of soda on the patches and then white vinegar and gave it all a good rub in then more vinegar and left it for a while. Then washed as normal and left it to dry in the direct sun and they’ve gone thank goodness. I think I might get some bio detergent as I always use non bio but have a few tops that smell a bit under the arm. Yuck.

Put neat washing up liquid on the stains and re wash or if you want to wait for more washing soak in a bucket of water with bicarbonate of soda or soda crystals and when you are ready to wash use neat washing up liquid on the stains, give them a bit of a rub and wash as normal. Washing up liquid is a great go to for marks/stains.
