Ice cube tray recommendations

We like this ice cube tray because the silicone (or possibly something else) is very thin so they are incredibly easy to pop out. No idea where it was bought from.

It's down sides are the cubes are small and the lid doesn't fit very well at all (under statement)

IKEA do a blue one a bit like that. No lid but it sits in a little tray to keep it rigid.

Yeah but the rubbery stuff is quite thick on that making the cubes hard to remove.

We get through an awful lot of ice.

We prefer the special ice cube polybags. Fill the bag with water, tie a knot and freeze. No fuss with keeping them level before the water freezes. Takes up less room in the freezer.

Yep they are great but expensive and not environmentally friendly.

these ones are great. You slightly twist the tray and all the ice pops out. The lids are so handy too to prevent the “ putting it back in the freezer without spilling” issues.
