Not Sure What this Is

I keep getting this "dirt" on my floor outside my bathroom. I'm hoping it's not rodent droppings and just dirt.

Anybody have any idea? Thanks

I'd say that's droppings but I'm no expert

Mouse droppings usually look like tiny grains of rice, smooth with pointed ends.

It looks wet and a bit like the gunk that gets built up in our sink overflow or mould that might grow on the underneath of a damp toilet cistern or toilet pipes?
Perhaps something like that is getting transfered from the bathroom and deposited outside the door.

DS wears his sliders out to the terrace and when he goes into the bathroom the damp floor/humidity sometimes results in dirt being transferred?

Anyone watering houseplants in the sink then carrying them out still dripping soil?

Do you have a window near where you are finding this? As PP said, it looks like a build up of dirt/mud. Potentially could be leaking in from a vent/window/drain etc

Why is the floor so wet?

The floor is just outside my bathroom and I keep a towel in my bedroom. I must have dropped a little after washing my hands.
