No water from tumble dryer

My condenser tumble dryer isn't collecting water
in the collection unit. It's not leaking and working fine other than this issue.

Has anyone had this issue?

note - no heat wave where I live

I had this problem but as well as not collecting the water it wasn't drying. It was heating up but the water was trapped in the drum. We had an engineer out to it four times but they couldn't fix it and I had to get a new one.

Have you checked the condenser unit is clean and free from trapped fibres and dust from clothes? That would be the first thing I would check.

Yes, the filer is clean and the bit at the bottom is clean too.
my clothes are drying so it's a bit strange. £150- 180 to send someone to look at it. Be as well buy new.
