Bastarding Ice Maker not working - AEG Fridge Freezer

Of all the days...

Six month old AEG FF with ice dispenser and it just stopped working. I had a look and the bucket is empty and I've realised that I haven't heard it doing the 'ice making noise' today.

Have checked ice maker is on
Have turned FF on and off
Have checked there is no ice chips stuck anywhere/blocking anything
Filter less than 6 months old
Temp is set to -16c
Small valve to box is soft so not iced up
Can't find an 'arm' in ice box but all seems to be as it should

Hoping for some MN magic or @PigletJohn to help me solve this.

And yes, it will still be under warranty but would like to try and resolve it before I have to sit on hold for thiry-six million hours to AEG listening to distorted hold music and losing my mind

Is there a test switch tucked away anywhere? Ours is a Samsung but it has a test switch that makes it cycle through the emptying and refilling process and when we first installed it we had to use it a couple of times to get it back on track.

We got three new cubes this morning. Random but we are hoping maybe the whole thing had overheated and was now coming back to life.
