Red nail varnish in carpet!!

So I dropped a splodge of red nail varnish on my grey carpet. Cannot get it out and have in fact made it worse by scrubbing nail varnish remover into it!!

Does anyone please have any recommendations on how to get rid of this stain???

Oh no! Usually letting it dry and then using nail scissors to trim the carpet in that spot does the trick. But if you’ve spread it and ground it in with nail varnish remover, I have no idea what would work.
