How to remove caramel from sofa

DS fell asleep on a Cadburys bar () and has called to ask me how to remove caramel from sofa fabric.

I'm puzzled with this one as it's so sticky. Any ideas please?

Hmm, maybe a tea towel over it and a hairdryer pointed at it to lift it onto the tea towel?

Good idea but he doesn't have a hairdryer.

‘Freeze’ it by putting ice cubes on it then peel it off when it’s more solid?

Thank you, will pass that on to him. Not sure how much it would harden as it's meant to stay quite soft.
