Daft fridge question

Just went hunting for lunch in the fridge and the back has started to go like snow. I had it on 4 I think. Sometimes it is wet and sometimes it is ice. What number should I have it on, and is 1 the coldest or 5?

I've been trying to work that one out for years, I go for 3 and hope for the best!

Apparantly the frosting you describe is normal (we have it and an engineer once told us it is normal) and I have our fridge on about 2.5.

mines on 3 but the yogurts at the back have frozen!

If there is a certain temperature that food should be kept at why do these fridge making people give us so much choice?!

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 14/01/2008 14:21

Exactly! I know it is probably for very hot/cold days but generally we don't get such extremes too much of the time.

5 is the coldest, 1 is the warmest

my fridge at work has 1 - 10

9 is too warm 9.5 freezes... we have to have it exactly a tiny bit over 9!
