Vacuum cleaner recommendations

Hello,

Bit of a boring topic but would love some advice on best vacuums.

All laminate flooring, flat so not a huge space but my son is extremely messy and we often do play with dried chickpeas and sand so needs to be strong enough to get them. I feel like I keep making bad decisions and I just want a really good lightweight but powerful cleaner.

What do you think?

Thanks

Miele cylinder

Can I be nosey and ask with Miele cylinder you have. I have an old Electrolux cylinder which is on it's last legs. I was edging towards a sebo but you have to change the filter every time you do a bag change and it's £30. How often would you say you're changing the Miele filter/filters? TIA

Oh not often, definitely not every time I change the bag.

I have 2, one for upstairs and it's 20 years old and ancient but still working and I have one for downstairs . I don't know what make it is but basically any Miele cylinder will be better than anything else imho.
