Mattress cleaning

Desperately need some help on this as am due to move next month and don’t want anyone seeing my mattress as it is.

I have a memory foam mattress, it’s about 5 years old, fixed cover (so can’t unzip to put on machine) and has always had a cover on so was pristine.

A couple of months ago I forgot to put back on the cover after washing it and managed to not only knock over a cup of coffee in bed (never happened before!) but my dog who sleeps on the bed was sick on it too. 🙄

Ive always gotten stains out of other mattresses with bio washing powder dissolved in water. But this didn’t work. In fact it just made a huge discoloured patch with dark outer line.

ive tried using bicarbonate of soda as a paste then wiping off. It’s now even worse. Basically it looks like somebody has been murdered on my mattress now. It is horrendous.

any tips at all?

Get a new one and never use it without a protector

Yes thanks for that. Not really possible to do that right now. And unfortunately that was one night without the protector after nothing ever being spilt on in before !

I would try carpet stain remover foam on it.
If that's doesn't work you can get matress bag or matress protector that covers the whole thing and zips up.
