We inherited the American fridge freezer when we moved into the house 6 years' ago and it still works well. However for the last two years the ice maker has not worked. I'm wondering whether to call an engineer out to fix it or should I just get one of those stand alone ice machines that cost around £100? We get through a lot of ice. I'm just not sure whether it will cost a fortune to get an engineer out
