Non-toxic cleaning products?

I have overhauled my diet and now want to overhaul my home. I use so many highly fragranced cleaning products and air fresheners, carpet fresheners, Scentsy plug ins, candles etc and I have recently been reading about how horrendous they are for our hormones etc.

i have decided I’d like to switch to non toxic cleaners and the only one I’ve seen recommended is Thieves. Unfortunately I cannot stand the smell of it, cinnamon and cloves - no thanks! I love sweet and fresh smells, so much prefer lemon or coconut.

anyway, I have tried googling alternatives but it just keeps coming by up with eco friendly brands like method and ecover which I already use, but their fragrances etc might be eco friendly but they’re not necessarily non toxic.

is anybody able to help?

I make my own non-toxic there easy-to-make for cleaning worktops, tables, and bathrooms and most surfaces. These are what I make there really old school stuff but really work.

Vinegar and baking soda: Mix 1/4 cup of baking soda with 1 cup of water and a splash of vinegar. This solution is great for removing grease, grime, and bacteria from surfaces.

Lemon and baking soda: Cut a lemon in half and sprinkle baking soda on the cut surface. Use the lemon to scrub surfaces, then rinse with water. This solution is especially effective for removing stubborn stains.

Essential oils: Essential oils like tea tree, lemon, and eucalyptus have natural antiseptic and cleaning properties. You can add a few drops of essential oil to a spray bottle filled with water to make a cleaning solution. I prefer lemon mostly because of the scent.

Castile soap: Castile soap is a non-toxic and biodegradable soap made from plant-based ingredients. Mix 1/4 cup of castile soap with 1 cup of water in a spray bottle. This solution can be used to clean countertops, bathroom surfaces, and even floors. this come in different scents ( I like Lavender) and you can get a liquid form of it

Thieves is another MLM I think, or so I’ve read, so best avoided.

I used fragrance free Ecover for laundry, cleaning and washing up. I use fragrance free everything to be honest. Artificial fragrances are seriously bad news, yet people just don’t want to know 🤷🏻‍♀️
