Morning Shannar Thanks for the thread. that you have a whole bed to yourself!

I haven't thought about what I am doing today, so I will be back in a while when I have thought about it!

ludaloo · 11/01/2008 08:06

Ok, I have had a think, doesn't look like I need to go anywhere today, so I will do the house.
I will get the mission done
I'd like to sort the kitchen drawers out today too (the middle drawer is ridiculously cluttered with crap!)
Washing as usual
Hoover upstairs
Clean Guinea's and the Fish out

Must also get diesel at some point (DH has come back without filling the car up) and need electic tokens.

That's all I think

Lazylou · 11/01/2008 08:14

Morning all! Well, it's back to work for me this morning (in the house). My bathroom looks gorgeous and at the moment is lovely and clean and tidy.

I think I'm going to potter around a bit and just do odd bits and pieces until I can get into a rhythm. As for the kitchen mission, I did this about a week ago, so shall find something else to amuse myself. Actually the place is quite dusty due to builders and their mess so I might end up on my hands and knees damp dusting skirting boards, door frames etc etc.

Have a good day everyone!

FunkyGlassSlipper · 11/01/2008 08:35

Morning guys. Off to work and DD1 to pre-school and DD2 to childminder. A bit different today as DD2 doesnt really know the childminder so we need to see how it goes....

Wont be back till mid afternoon so need to try and tidy then. Have done my morning routine though

Shannaratinger · 11/01/2008 09:20

Hello back again

Luda at you not needing to venture out today.
Morning routine done
First load of washing in TD am now washing the washing machine.

Yesterday DD had her pre-op hospital appointment is having her operation, correcting her squint, next Friday. We have to be there for 7:30 which involves a 20min drive along the motorway, with no breakfast in side her , could be a nightmare, also don't know what to dao with DS as we have to leave about 6:45 and be their all day.

Went to Matalan yesterday to get DD a dressing gown adn slippers, also bought a 'body control suit' got it home and the box was empty, someone had stolen it and put the empty packet back , hope they believe me as it cost £12. Also brought a new mop, one of teh traditional string ones with the bucket.

My parents are visiting tomorrow morning so had better get on and mop the kitchen and bathroom floors. Am halfway thru the mission, although tend to wipe the cupboards whilst waiting for kettle or potatoes etc. to boil.

Sorry about the boring post, hope you all have a good day

Morning all

It's a horrible day here today, wet, misty and generally yukky!

So, no excuses I have to continue with the housework.
First job is to sort the Christmas decs so dh can pack them away in the loft that we haven't done this yet.
I also need to sort the kids wardrobes and put away a load of washing.
I do this mission quite often but will do it again today anyway.

I'm still trawling websites for somewhere to stay on holiday....

EHM · 11/01/2008 11:00

Hi go x post

BiancaCastafiore · 11/01/2008 11:00

EHM we like N Cornwall but everywhere seem sto be fully booked for the dates we have or way too expensive! We found somewhere quite nice but it has no garden...not sure if we should just go for it or keep looking - we like to have lots of BBQs on holiday usually so are not sure how we'd enjoy a place with no outdoor space....

We decided to look back at the place we stayed at last year which was v nice but was lacking in a couple of departments (no bath for one - and ds has a shower phobia) but even they are booked this year unless we go for a couple of weeks right at the end of the school summer term....

I'm getting a bit fed up with looking at cottages online now.....

Must go and do some proper jobs....

gibberish · 11/01/2008 11:23

Morning

Thanks yadda. Feeling a lot better today.

Where is never? Haven't seen her around for ages...

Got to have a quick tidy up.. take dd3 to her dentist apt, do a grocery shop and take the damn hoover to independent repair shop (advice of Consumer Advice helpline...)

And I've got a headache. Stayed up WAY too late last night gassing to gigglewitch Must have an early night tonight.

Grouchyoscar · 11/01/2008 11:27

Bianca That's just reminded me to get our holiday booked. Scarborough again it is!

ludaloo · 11/01/2008 11:44

EHM DD has stopped being sick I think, but still has poorly poos. DS cried again this morning . Thanks for asking
You are still going with the washing...well done you!

Well I have been very productive this morning...
~Cleaned out GP's
~Cleaned out fish
~Tidied living room
~Hoovered all downstairs
~Tidied kitchen drawers!! OMG! I cannot believe the amount of stuff that accumulates in drawers!
~Put 2 loads of washing away

DH has sorted the diesel, and electric, so I don't actually have to do that now.

Upstairs still needs doing.

Pizza is in the oven for mine and DD2's lunch...yum!

ludaloo · 11/01/2008 11:49

ooooh we have just had a letter from Sky, to say that from the 11th Jan...for 2weeks we are having ALL Sky channels free!!! Its a promotional "Taster"

That's not actually very fair is it!! after 2 weeks we won't want to loose the new channels (ATM we only have the basic Freeview channels) The kids will go yampy for all the Disney and Nickleodeon channels won't they!!

GGGGRRRRR....But
