Is Fortnightly enough?

I've just gone back to work part time and am going to get in a cleaner. I'm really struggling to find one with space but have found one with a fortnightly slot.

I had always planned for a weekly clean and I'm wondering if fortnightly will be enough? I don't really want to have to do a full house clean on the "off" week.

For those with fortnightly cleaners - do you find it's enough? What do you have to do in between?

Thanks.

I would find fortnightly difficult. Once a week as a minimum.

But the size of your home and family will also make a difference.

Once a fortnight is better than nothing. Could you ask her to give you another slot if she becomes free ?
And keep looking for another in the mean time.

For me no, but it’s better than nothing.

Mine comes fortnightly does the whole house two of them for two hours. It's absolutely fine although I have toddlers so don't have very high standards for the two weeks In between. Just sweep up as we go and keep the toilet and bath clean in between.

Mine is fortnightly, I hoover a bit, squirt stuff down the loos and give them a wipe over in between but often not much more than that.
Even with a weekly cleaner you'll always end up doing bits in between so I'd go for it and wait for a weekly slot if that's what you need.
