AGA or not?

I grew up with an AGA and had one in my first flat.

I just love how they look, how they cook and everything from boiling a kettle, drying clothes or warming animals or making toast in the toast racket.

I'm hoping to buy a new home following a painful divorce and wondered if I might have one in my life again? I bought one second hand before.

But have they had there day with rising energy prices or are they still a contender?

Try Everhot

The new ones aren't on all the time however you then lose the AGA fermI suppose. Personally I wouldn't install an old/original, they are money pits.

The new AGAs are not made in Britain.

I have an Everhot ( 3 yrs) we are very pleased with it. It is costing 5p an hour to run. You can put it on Eco at night. We have the 110i you can buy smaller ones. Have a look on Everhot Discussion page and you will see loads. They don’t need to be serviced every year like an AGA. If you are anywhere Skipton,Yorkshire go to TN Cook as there are Agas and Everhot. You can buy recondition ones as well as new. We had an amazing meal for Sunday.
