Needs to be about 7' x 5' (stain isnt that big but to look half decent it will need to be a big rug)

Sofa/chair are black leather.
Walls are very pale lemony cream colour (could be mistaken for magnolia
Wooden venetian blinds at wondows
Silver tv
Medium coulour Natural wood coffee tables.

I need a rug that is cheap and big and goes with all of that as we cant afford a new carpet and I dont think that carpets are covered for accidental damage on the insurance (need to go and check in a bit).

Help.

Oooooh Bianca I like those!!!!!

FGS We don't really have any rugs, you could try Ikea though, they have some lovely ones.

Or here, they have a sale on

Hope you find what you are looking for though

Flllightattendant · 09/01/2008 09:33

Did you try pouring white wine over it? Or is it too late?

FunkyGlassSlipper · 09/01/2008 09:37

Thanks Guys.

It's too late Flight Attendant. We didnt have any white wine in the house so went over it immediately with the Bissell we have. It got the worst of the red up but now there are dark grey splash marks everywhere

I'll look through the links....

It will eventually come out with the Bissel. You just need to keep doing it.

FunkyGlassSlipper · 09/01/2008 09:58

We did it for about an hour last night, with the small hand attachment as well as the main unit. Both DH and I had aching hands by then...

I meant let it dry and then go over it again another day.

Oxyclean really does work on stained carpets.
