Carpet stain - help!

So my niece decided to have the wise idea of having a party whilst her parents are on holiday... you know where I'm going with this.

Cream carpet has bright pink 'dragon soup' stained on it. I have dried vanish carpet foam cleaner, vanish clothing stain remover and latest attempt was ace. Absolutely no joy

Anyone got some stain removing tips please!

It sounds like a job for a professional carpet cleaning company, or a claim on the insurance.

There are certain things that just won't come off. My DS spilled lucozade on my cream carpet and even the professional carpet cleaner said it would never come off.

It's a 100% wool carpet so it actually did fade to nothing eventually, but nothing actually 'cleaned' it.

Maybe buy a rug??!!

I had carpets laid three years ago and on the sample books it said you could use bleach on them. I've never been brave enough to try but my mum has the same carpet brand and has used it and the stain went and the bleach did no damage.
