Sick of non stick pans sticking! I have a couple of le creuset pieces but are the frying pans any good?

I've used the stainless ones, they're excellent. Have a skillet type one in the orange at home, also excellent. Never had anything stick to either. Just make sure you're using the right oil for the temperature you're cooking at.

We've had a couple and given up on them :(. Love their stuff usually - got stainless le creuset saucepans and casserole dish. But the non stick stuff is warping. We have an induction hob, but really careful not to run it at full tilt with the pans on, but still they've warped so they don't sit flat. Not going to bother with the non stick stuff in future - shame because it feels lovely, but it's just so expensive and if it isn't going to last.......

We have the non stick ones and an induction stove in our new house . Haven’t had any trouble and just got another pan .

I've got an induction hob too, it's a lot of money for 1 pan but my other stuff is over 25 years old and still going strong.

I use Le creuset saucepans (about 30 years old) but much prefer to use a nonstick frying pan. Mine was £10 from Lidl about 8 years ago and still going strong.

We had problems with our non stick ones, we sent them back. We were told the temperature we were using them at was too high! No refund or exchange.
I now get non stick stuff by Kitchenaid at TKMaxx, it’s excellent

I have loads of the stainless steel ones and love them. I returned three non stick ones though. The non sticky ness just kept peeling off. Got a full refund but would rather they'd just worked.

If you specifically want non stick rather than stainless Steel I'd very much recommend these, we have had ours 5 years and our former lodger had his a few years longer. They're absolutely brilliant and really reasonably priced. We use it for almost everything, sausages, sauces... you name it.

I bought an M&S saute pan and frying pan ( black outside non stick) they are brilliant
I wanted a bigger frying pan too , bought a Tefal one , distinctly underwhelmed Sad

I was given a non stick le cresuet frying pan (the stainless steel 3 ply one) and it's brilliant. Good even temperatures and very little washing up required.
Had it 6 years and it looks like new.

Beamur · 15/04/2022 16:44

I've recently bought a le cresuet non stick pan and so far, it's very good.
