Hi our house always looks dingy. We have a black lab so constant dog hair. I sweep daily and hoover couple times a week but it never looks clean. I just use dust pan and brush or shark hoover but even when it's just done it doesn't look clean. I mop regularly but again floor still looks mucky. Despite wiping dogs feet after walks, he jumps up at walls/kitchen units and leaves smudges. There's always dust on tv sky box etc. I use baby wipes to dust so don't know if this makes it worse. Any products /equipment that can improve my house Please?

My best thing with the dog is a robovac.
I'd probably vacuum 2 or 3 times a week since we got the dog but the robovac does most of downstairs every night after we've gone to bed and it's hairless when I come down the next day.

Washing hard floors is more of a pain, I also got a robomop, which I debated for a while and its good - but I wouldn't rave about it like I would about the robovac.
I already had steam mop and use that periodically.
I think the best finish is a mop and bucket, but I can't be bothered.

I just use a damp cloth, or general purpose kitchen spray on surfaces throughout the house (kitchen, windowsills, coffee table, bathroom etc). Baby wipes seems very wasteful.

Teach the dog not to jump up, and then he won't be leaving smears.

Ditto PP. Don't use wet wipes - a damp microfibre cloth is your best friend for dusting. Methods Glass cleaner is the best cleaner for glass I've found.
