Eco Balls - Has anyone tried these? are they worth it?

I just stumbled across an ad for these and they look like a good eco friendly alternative to washing powder, but i just wondered if anyone had tried them?

Also if they work as well as normal washing powder etc - basically if they are worth it!

They deal with nappies and everything!

Do a search on ecoballs, saw - there are dozens of threads!

(I don't use them, I just love chemicals )
