After visit by a cleaning lady, my fairly new monochrome bathroom sink basin tap was covered in black and coppery patches all over and looks awful. I did ask if she had used anything odd to clean them, but she said only Cif cream. I did wonder if Cif spray foam had been sprayed on and accidentally left, but I am scratching my head and have ordered a replacement. Without pointing any fingers, I just want to know if anyone knows what could have caused this in the space of an afternoon, so that it would never happen again. I am going to buy some white vinegar today as I see it is a tip used here.
