Grey washing back to white?

I washed some mats (dark blue and white) and the white areas are now grey. 😔 If I put them in the sunshine tomorrow do I have any hope of the grey turning white again? What if I put Milton on the white bits? Would That help?

I wouldn’t- get some colour run remover (from Robert dyas/Sainsburys etc, try B&M too ) - 2/3 £

For patterned things, the ‘colour catcher’ sheets prevent this. Put it in a mesh bag so it doesn’t end up in your machine’s filter
