Spot on walls

Hi. I've got soot on my tiny toilet walls from lighting a candle, there's no window in there and the walls have soot on them. Does anyone have any ideas on how best to clean it please?

No idea but if your candles are creating soot in a windowless room, do you realise they aren’t burning properly and will also be making a small amount of carbon monoxide? Not enough to kill you, but not great either. Only burn candles in a well-ventilated area.

Do not rub them with a cloth, I've learnt this from experience.
