Bed

DD could do with some sort of cabin bed for her tiny room, preferably with a pull out desk. I'd like it to be quite traditional looking and ideally to be a company that will come and put it together for us as well. Does such a thing exist without it being silly money please?

Non? Are they really so easy to put up that nobody but me would use a service like this?

i know there are companies that will put together flat packed furniture for you (dont knwo one that sell and put it up iykwim)

will google for you!

theres a few here

but they cost ££ i think, id just get a few friendly men give them some tea nad biscuits and leave them to it!

Thanks ever so much. I think you may well be right. I'd rather not use a flat pack putter upper company but I wondered if maybe John Lewis or somewhere might offer a putter upper service. Can't find anything on the website though. I will hunt for friendly men instead!

I know such a sevice does exist...

my old bosses had a similar criteria to you...

they got a LOVELY traditional style cabin bed, and yes someone DID come and assemble it AND it had a pull out desk (I think it was oak?)

this was abour 4 / 5 years ago now and i have no idea what company they were.... knowing my exbosses i cant imagine it was a cheap bed, but im sure it was exactly what you are saying u want IUSWIM

YES it does exist... or did, but sorry i have no idea what company it was etc

(also they have moved house and dont have the bed anymore!)

If you promise not to shout at me about paying silly money for it - I recently bought this bed for DS and the company assembled it for me

It is beautiful though

this one

Oh link won't work to page, so type Monk into Keyword and it is the Cabin bed.

Seems to be a company that will come and assemble...

...don't know if apt, as I don't know where you stay.

Good luck

Soapbox - it's absolutely, totally, utterly (add more superlatives as you see fit) gorgeous. Out of my budget I'm afraid though!
