I would like a spot cleaner for rugs, no need for a massive appliance to do whole room carpets. Just rugs and maybe spot cleaning.

What would you recommend?

I’ve just got the rug doctor spot cleaner, my rugs were looking old and we have a new puppy in the family and she’s been peeing on them. The pee was the only reason I got it really and it’s really good. I’d definitely recommend it there’s lots of different detergents you can get for it.
I treasure my rugs they’re good ones or I’d just replace them. I was looking at the large domestic one but it’s just for small areas I’ve got laminate everywhere and rugs. It takes a while depending on the rug size and it’s so satisfying seeing what comes out and the colour of the water.

We have the Bissell, the SpotCleanPro is fabulous. We bought it when our cat was a kitten for accidents. Cleans up residue from waste and vomit no problem, smells good and leaves the carpet only slightly damp rather than wet.

Has more than paid for itself. £119 on Amazon
