Kitchen floor. Dustpan and brush?

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 03/03/2022 20:34

So I tend to sweep the kitchen floor, prior to steam mopping it. I've had long handled brushes and dustpans before, but the last one has broken. Anyone got any recommendations? Or do people find that just hoovering the floor first is as good. Any advice on this thrilling subject gratefully received Grin

I hoover first.

I set the robovac off in there (and then the robomop), but I used to vacuum in preference to sweeping.

I use the hard floor attachment on the vacuum cleaner which has brushes on it. Like sweeping but sucks the dirt up too

Eufy.

We sweep but I do use Henry in there when I've got him out

That's useful. Thanks everyone. I've had the Aldi version of the robot cleaner a while ago, but in the rest of the house I think maybe we have too much stuff to let him do this thing without obstruction, and he would occasionally get stuck under the settee and pin the cat in the corner Grin

Hoovering the floor is more effective than sweeping IMO
