Spilt wax all over hob

Hello,

I spilt wax from a burner all over induction hob. Is it best to just let it dry and scrape off? Anything else that's good to remove wax? I also have a thin layer all over the ceramic burner, best to scrape?

Melt with a hairdryer and clean up with an old rag or kitchen paper.

Second with hairdryer but I would use baking paper on top to soak up wax
