Bin theft shock

Some scumbag has stolen our grey wheelie bin full of rubbish. Anyone know where i can get a cheap wheelie bin other than the council?
Also will the binmen empty any size bin or is 240litre the maximum?

Ooh, I bet it is! Nip back under cover of darkness and pinch it back.

after dark?

lazarou · 04/01/2008 14:14

i'll tell dh to go get it, but i know he wont want to.
How very dare they parade it in front of me. The only problem is that the other bin they have has got the numbwer written in the same colour paint, but the bin on the pavement looks just like ours, even down to the skanky lid.

Nick it back, and paint your name on it. Then let them claim it's theirs - if they come looking for it...

nannyL · 04/01/2008 21:21

i agree

you need to nick it back... some time in the middle of the night, ideally the nigth after its emptied

I told dh to go get it, but he doesn't want the aggro and it's too cold. He'd rather fork out another £37 for a new one.

both of my recycling bins have gone walkabouts, one went when we were on holiday and the other one went last week when the binmen came. Must phone for some new ones.
