You know the lovely old fashioned cupboards to store linen and crockery? I want one that will fit into a modern flat rather than a country cottage. DO they exist?

What about this?

second to bottom pair, top and sideboard?

I have a LA (not this though) huge chunky oak dresser - really handy.

Fired Earth do a lovely one - we have a cream one from the Cotswold Co. we do live in a 16th Century House but kitchen isn't oldy worldy and it would look fine in a new or modern house!

Think it may even be in the sale at the moment too!

The Huntinton ones.

The Laura Ashley ones are nice, but still a bit country cottage-y. I likethe fired earth ones! I've just used fired earth paint for my living room so it will all go!

We've got one from The Kitchen Dresser Company www.thekitchendresser.co.uk/

They are lovely, and you can choose the colour you want, and they come in a range of different sizes.

Very, very happy with ours.

oh, sorry - I just took a look at Laura Ashley again - the Huntingdon one looks perfect

Yes and only just over the £600.

When I saw you'd put they were a bit cottagy I was confused, as I have a modernish interior (in an old barn) and have the Milton Apothacary cabinet - which is very sleek and sexy - but enormous and quite pricey.

An apothecary cabinet would be fab, just once I move to a barn (clicks hopefully on property snake website) Thank you! Now have to figure whether I can wait nine weeks for delivery!
