Vax blade. Love ours. Suction is great, really light and easy to use, even with my arthritic wrists.
We have said when it breaks we will definitely replace it with another Vax blade but probably a newer model with twin batteries. We have a cat and the non pet version sucks all the cat hair up no problem.

Unfortunately that seems to be out of stock everywhere, when I look on amazon a similar vax one is hit and miss on reviews.

Just received my vax and love it, obviously can't comment on battery like etc, but so far brilliant.

Brilliant!
I had a little worry you would hate it & I’d have felt awful for recommending it. Our carpets came up brilliantly,. The first few times we used it we were amazed how much came up & it made us realise how bad our old one was.
Glad you like it.

Imtoooldforallthis · 20/02/2022 17:23

Yes still loving it, emptied three times already!!!!

yes we were amazed at how much we had to empty ours when we first used it & ours was such a novelty we were hoovering non stop in the first few weeks.
It doesn’t need emptying as often now the carpets are really clean. We bought a spare filter set so that we wash one & then still have one to use whilst that’s drying. Ebay or Amazon, can’t remember which.

Imtoooldforallthis · 20/02/2022 17:43

Oh I'll have to have a look for one, it didn't come with any instructions and obdid think the filter was hard to clean.

They aren’t hard to clean but it does lose a little suction when they are both in need of a clean. They do dry really quickly too but I didn’t want to be in the position of not being able to hoover until they were totally dry, it’s not essential to have another set.

This was my post from last year and I bought the vax and really like it, I use it at our caravan. I need another for home and would prefer one that stands upright as it drives me mad that you have to rest everytime you use it.
