Please help - I need to fix this door before inspection tomorrow

I'm a tenant and tomorrow my landlord has a surveyor coming and I think they will take some pictures, the dent happened today unluckily from the handle of the other door getting slammed into it. Any ideas on how I can fix this before tomorrow?

I'm not sure how you can fix that. Even something like pollyfilla won't be dry enough in time to paint (assuming you have the right colour paint?)
Can you blu-tack kids' drawings all over the door to hide it? Or just come clean.

A surveyor won't care about a small dent in a door. And in a property inspection you can do whatever you like to a property so long as you return in it the same condition minus fair wear and tear. No need to worry

You can't fix that. I'd suggest just holding your hands up and apologising

Yes seems like accident waiting to happen if it’s caused by opening a door and you can’t see another door in the way. Door should be solid enough to be fit for purpose looks like it’s made really cheaply to crumble from the door handle.

If its a kids bedroom stick a poster over it for now . He prob won't be interested in a dent in a door anyway
