Husband throws waste in the sink

I was brought up to throw food waste In the bin and even if was say a bowl of cereal to drain the milk down the sink then the scraps of cereal in the bin. My husband, no matter how many times I ask him, insists on capturing it in the sink catcher but then 9/10 leaves it there for hours or until the following morning. I am going insane! Is it just me? Is this odd behaviour? He also leaves the cloths in there too so when you pick a cloth up it will have a cornflake or piece of cat food (or more) on it!

Leave it all to him to deal with/clean up. Stop asking to do it, leave it. He’s a grown up.

That’s a problem for him to fix.

Don't get me wrong I do leave it for him but I hate looking at it! I'd like a clean empty sink 😫

You need an in-sink waste disposal... it grinds up food scraps as they are washed down the drain. They are not expensive, and easy to install.

Ours is 26 years old, and is called "BoneCrusher". Funnily enough, the handbook tells you NOT to put bones in it."
